Samsung finally made its way to the top (after smashing down iPhone 5) with its newly released Samsung Galaxy S3. Apple’s iPhone 5 stumbled to 2nd position in the accolade ceremony of 2012’s best tech device. While some believe Android is in no comparison to Apple’s iOS, others believe Android is much superior. If you are among the keen ones looking for a clear-cut list of eye-catchers in Samsung Galaxy S3, then look nowhere else.
Two-day long Battery Life
The biggest problem with every Smartphone is its battery. As a Smartphone is full of apps and functions, every user tends to overuse it. But the battery however is not in par with their usage and you need to charge them up at least once a day before it conks. But Samsung Galaxy S3 adds a 2100mAh battery which ensures a much longer battery life than any Smartphone that exists today. GS3 will have about two-day battery life without a need to charge it.
Pop-up Play
It is a feature that every media lover will adore. While watch a video you suddenly realized that you have to send an urgent text. You can take the video along. Press the Pop-up Play button (located at the bottom corner of playback menu). This will shrink the video and you can drag this video across home screen while the video continues to play. This is a fabulous feature and takes multi-tasking to a different level altogether.
High-Speed Data transfer
Samsung Galaxy S3 includes Beam technology, which lets users share movies and audio files using NFC (near field communication) technology. This lets you share files among devices by placing enabled devices back to back and wait until transfer finishes. Samsung promises that with this feature, a 1 GB movie will take 3 minutes to transfer and a 10 MB song will take about 3 seconds.
Wireless Charging
If you have multiple computer devices like Smartphones, laptops, tablets, e-book readers etc, then your house would be mesh of tangled wires. Samsung has made a move to solve this problem by introducing a wireless charging functionality. It offers a docking unit, which allows not just one, but two devices to charge at the same time and it works perfect.
8MP Camera
This feature is though not a ground breaking as every other Smartphone packs an 8MP camera. But GS3 packs a ‘Best Photo’ function allows you to pick best of 4 shots that you camera will take in a single go. This ensures that you get the best shot of scenes that you can afford to miss. There are several apps available in online store that gives you such functionalities, but to have such a feature in-built, is a cherry on top.
S Voice turns out better than Siri
S voice is the best answer to Apple’s Siri. It promises to add a slew of new voice commands to Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich’s basic offerings. You can use S Voice to instruct your Galaxy S3 to set alarm, turn off, reject call, turn voice up and down and even click a photo. Though the feature is not new, but Samsung promises S Voice to be accent friendly for people with thick accent (something Siri is still scrambling with).

I myself have a Samsung Galaxy and I love it !! It is true that the battery life is stellar and I can go about a day and half without needing to plug it in. I was excited to hear of the wireless charging docking center. The should make them standard with the phone instead of those pesky cords. I use my phone for just about everything I do a computer ( email, radio, surfing, watching my fav shows). For all those thinking of getting one I definiatly recommend it !!!!!
