Computer Buying Tips..
There are many things that you need to consider when you go to buy a computer. It can be quite difficult if you do not know what you are looking for. Some of the things that you may want to consider when looking for a computer will be the memory size, screen quality and storage size. One question to ask yourself? Is do I want a desk top or laptop? Here are some pros and cons on both.
Desktop:
A desktop computer which is basically a unit which contains all the computer components and the mouse, the screen and keyboard are separate. This type of computer is the most powerful for home computing, and will be able to deliver you high performance but they are not very portable because there are many different separate components. If you are going to use your computer for high end graphics, video and audio, you want a computer that is going to need to deliver a lot of power, it is then probably safe to go with a desktop computer since they will be able to provide you with the latest technology advancement and also will be able to work to the highest ability.
Laptop or notebook:
Portability is a big pro to laptops. By portability, I simply mean that you can simply move about the house or simply move with it anywhere else. A notebook computer is a computer which houses the computer components, mouse, screen and keyboard all in one. These types of computer comes with a screen which folds in and out and only weigh a few pounds so that you are able to carry them with you wherever you go. If you are after a computer that is just required for normal stuff and business than you defiantly settle for a notebook computer that will fulfill this and give you the portability factor.
If you want a laptop, you can decide on the screen size. Memory is the most important thing here, not forgetting the battery. Some laptops do not store energy for long time and others do. You should choose a laptop that will be able to stay for almost 6hrs without any connections to the charger. This will help you a lot in cases where there is no power in your area. You should also consider buying a laptop that has dual processors with big memory so as to ease your working with it.
Whether you choose a desktop or laptop remember to install antivirus, spyware and malware software in your new computer before you start using it so as to help protect your machine from problems.
One of the best ways to see what you want in a laptop is to check them out at a store. Once you have a list of needs and wants, review prices in local ads and online stores. Don’t assume that paying more for a laptop will mean that you are getting a better laptop. Paying more isn’t always better for you.
