If you are like most people, you have about a zillion passwords. These passwords can get confusing and sadly, many folks rely on the memory of the computer to recall them. 
This is a very dangerous practice as if you do not have a record of your passwords; they can easily be erased and lost forever. If you cannot remember the password, you will have to reset it or have the software vendor reset it for you.
