r computer could be filled with software that you are unaware of. I know this may sound all like a conspiracy theory to you but to be honest, it is real and it is happening. Many online security software companies have been warning about it for years and now they have solid proof.
This software lets the person who has installed it on your machine turn on your webcam at their leisure. So when you’re not using your web cam it is best to keep it covered to keep prying eyes out. Kaspersky, which is a software security program, has found that more and more programs of this kind are coming out and most folks are unaware of the invasion of privacy going on.
In addition to the webcams, these users are able to turn on our microphone and ease drop on your conversations or daily happenings as well.
Not only can this happen to our computers, laptops and tablets, but also it has been shown that these viruses can be downloaded as an update on your Smart Phone. Yes that’s right; scary huh? This is why we need to be careful when updates come in for your smart phone. These pesky priers can also embed there monitoring software into the apps we download into our phones, allowing them to listen to our phone calls and messages. They can even read and record our text messaging and look through our pictures as well as use a key logger to see what keys you are pressing on your keyboard
The best thing you can do is make sure you have a good piece of security software on all of your machines even your tablets and phones. Make sure the program is from a well-known source and that they are able to protect you against this type of privacy invasion. I know I have been saved several times on my Android by my AVG protection
So you may be asking yourself just who these prying eyes are. Well they are not only people looking to steal information but it has been proven that some foreign governments are doing it as well. It has not been proven that our government here in the USA is guilty of prying but I would be on the safe side and take precautions if I were you.
