Malwarebytes anti-exploit is a new program designed to stop certain malicious programs from accessing your computer. It offers protection from Java exploits, browser exploits, Adobe Reader, Microsoft Word, Excell, Power Point, Windows Media Player, flash player, VLC player, Winamp Player and more.
The program is not designed to be a standalone virus-remover but rather a supplement to your current security. It might be the only tool that might block the infamous CryptoLocker virus. Although we have seen less of this virus in the past couple of months, it is important to remember that virus infections come in waves. When the virus wave hits, it can turn into a tsunami.
In tests, there have been no adverse computer effects in our own use of the product. The product is in Beta, which means it is still in development. This product is unique, as I do not know of any other security software that offers this type of protection.
Eventually, this will likely be added and incorporated with the original Malwarebytes anti-Malware software. Although I have not received any exploits to test it with, with the non-existent performance issues it is something I would highly recommend.
In the video review, the tester explains that there are few settings or changes you can make to the program. Even so, we have found absolutely no adverse effects on machine performance. With that said and with the amount of exploits that are in the wild, I would highly recommend installing this on all your computers.
As the product is rolled out it will only get better with time. Personally, I have it on every machine I own from Windows XP to Windows 7. Installation is a breeze and it will not slow you down at all.
