Kernel Stack Inpage Error fix Using Recovery Console.
I was working on a computer one day at the office, successfully installed a new hard drive on one of the computers and proceeded to install Windows XP when this error popped up and prevented me from continuing the install…
It was a kernel stack inpage error, that sound technical because it is – let’s just say that this is one annoying error… I tried the chkdsk and fixboot repair option on the Recovery Console in Windows XP but still the error pops up.. I also tried replacing the memory sticks in the hope that it must be a busted memory module. But still it didn’t work.
After some time figuring out what to do next, I finally found out the fix… replace the hard drive cable. Well that’s it, after changing hard drive cables, the kernel_stack_inpage_error did not pop up ever since.
Talking about changing hard drive cables, this technique also fixed an Unmountable Boot Volume error I was having. It seems a simple change in hard drive cables can fix some of the most annoying computer problems.
It just happened that the hard drive cable was busted so I managed to fix this error. But I won’t be taking any chances next time. How about you? Experienced computer errors lately?
Tip: Use quality hard drive cables.
