System Check and How to Get Rid Of It!
System Check is a rogue security solution that carries out fake scans on your computer. Informing you of errors in your hard disk, RAM errors and prompting you to download the full version of the program to resolve the above issues.. System Check is a problem that has the risk of escalating into a bigger one and if it’s not taken care of it can eventually crash your system causing a loss of data on your machine.
System Check is not the first virus of its kind. It follows along the lines of others ,such as Data Recovery, Windows Recovery and System Repair. Often described as stubborn, the virus engraves itself deep in your system often going as far as imprinting itself in your registry. It interferes with programs, most of which you are disabled from running because of a ‘critical error’ in your hard drive.
Additionally, it will try to conceal the contents of files and folders particularly those relating to installed program. Download the removal tool and install it, and it will take care of the rest. If you encounter any problems whilst doing this, reboot your system in safe mode.
System Restore
By restoring your system to a point in time in the past when it was alright, you can get rid of the System Check virus for good. All parts of it will be removed, and your computer will be restored to full functionality. You do of course need to ascertain that the virus won’t get another chance by getting a trustworthy security solution.
To do a system restore click Start then All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore. You are guided the way through. Ensure you select an appropriate restore date, when the virus hadn’t infected your machine.
The third method is the most involving, and it involves removing the registry entries that the System Check has created, and then subsequently deleting all its files and folders.
