I definitely want to recommend Ross at Computer Geek’s Online to anyone who has a problem with their computer or for basic computer maintenance.
I had two of the most popular anti virus/malware programs on my computer (you would definitely know the names) and still picked up a virus that these two programs did not even detect. When Ross logged onto my system, I was actually asking him about another problem when he noticed this virus immediately and outlined for me steps we could take to fix it. In an hour, he had removed the virus, checked for any damage, removed my former anti virus programs and installed a better security system, and made the PC run faster. And this was all done remotely, while my computer and I never left the house. Several months later, my father went into the hospital and I had to come up with a way to get work done while helping out my parents. I had an older version laptop that had gotten slow from the amount of programs loaded on it and I wasn’t sure it had security programs in place so that I could use it safely on the internet without picking up malware. Because of my previous good experience with Computer Geek’s Online, I called Ross again.
This was a big task, but he systematically went through and identified programs that needed to come off, set up a security system for me, and again cleaned up the computer to make it run faster. When he was done, this older version laptop ran as fast as my newer desk top and was safe to work online so I could help out my parents. This was a tough time for my family, and I don’t know what I would have done without Ross’ help. He made it seem like no problem at all, but I would have really been in a crisis if I hadn’t known I could trust his service to help me get this alternative computer option functional. I contacted Computer Geek’s Online today in an effort to rid my computer of the adware, spyware, Trojan horses (and who knows what else) that has obviously attached itself over the course of the last year.
My computer has been running at an incredibly slow speed, and it has frequently frozen/locked up, that I shut it down and reboot it. My frustration level has been steadily increasing, because I work full-time as a transcriptionist, and my computer is literally my lifeline. I estimate that I’ve been losing at least one hour of productivity each day because of reduced computer speed, etc.
After I explained my problems and allowed Computer Geek’s Online to remotely take over, they spent over two hours reviewing everything on my computer, identifying all the problems, and correcting them. My computer is again running at top speed, and I am delighted!
